“This song is basically a story. Ya know a typical night for me. I’m staying up writing songs, playing guitar, and then it hits me. I can’t always be the problem. It leads to all these comparisons and I drive myself to this point where I feel that I am no longer as good as everyone else.”

Get To Know Me Demo Version Release + NEW SOUNDCLOUD!!!
My very very very first recording of Get To Know Me! I wrote this song a few years ago, and I played my own guitar to get the right sound and the right vibe going. I recorded it at a local Boys and Girls Club. There was an awesome little studio at this Boys and Girls Club and an even more awesome studio engineer. This demo was literally made in about an hour. Literally. It is nowhere near perfect as you can tell when you listen. I just wanted my thoughts to be captured as quickly as I could get them out, so this is the original product I had to work with. Look out for the extra part in the demo version that I ended up not including in the version on my album Brain XP. I’m giving all my secrets away! (No matter how embarrassing these secrets may be, this is where I started, and I am proud of it.)
